Summary
My music production started the day I pirated FL studio 12

My Musical Influences
My first proper introduction to music was when my family got me and my brother a PlayStation 2 where the only game on it was guitar hero 3 so the only music I was exposed to until my teenage hood was purely rock and metal ranging from brands like Aerosmith to Slipknot. But when I turned 13 I was introduced to SoundCloud where I got introduced to artists like Lil Uzi Vert , Ski Mask The Slump God , XXXtentacion etc. which inspired me to start googling how the beats they rapped on were made which was where I was introduced to FL studio.
DAWS
Most of my experience resides in FL Studio but I am competent in Pro Tools And Logic Pro X.
Recording
I have done a music technology btec where we covered how to record specific instruments and what microphones to record them with, which required me to track full songs where I needed to record a variety of instruments. Also I have engineered for people before so I am very familiar with the recording process.
Sampling
I tend to stay away from using Samples of pre existing tracks but I have sampled some songs into my own production but my aim when I’m sampling is to make the sample indistinguishable from its original format.
Synthesis
My experience with synthesis ranges from me tweaking a few knobs on a synthesiser until it sounded good to me.
Remixing
I don’t like remixing songs so I would like to further explore and build up my remixing skills further this year.
Composing
I prefer to do all my production work electronically and all by drawing in the midi myself. I have a very limited knowledge of actual music theory but I am very confident in translating whatever melody I have in my head onto the piano roll.
